The Prize was established in honor and memory of Associate Professor E M A Bullivant and to encourage research in physiology.
Eligibility for Mary Bullivant Prize in Physiology 2024:
- The Prize will be awarded for distinction in postgraduate studies undertaken by a student in the Department of Physiology. This will be determined by factors such as the academic grade achieved and other scholarly successes including, but not limited to, winning a prize for a conference presentation, selection to give a conference presentation, and research contributions sufficient to be named as the author of the research paper.
Application Process:
Students do not need to apply for this scholarship, award, or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
Value of Mary Bullivant Prize in Physiology 2024:
- One Mary Bullivant Prize in Physiology will be awarded annually and will be of the value of NZD 500.
The Prize will be awarded annually by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Physiology. The University of Auckland Council will not be bound to award the Prize in any year if there is no candidate of sufficient merit. The Prize may not be shared.
