3M National Student Fellowship 2025

The 3M National Student Fellowship aims to foster a community of forward-thinking student leaders who show exceptional leadership and creativity by identifying existing needs in higher education or society and taking action to bring about change. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be current full-time students at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
• Applicants must have completed at least one full semester of study at the time of nomination.
• Applicants are not eligible if they have already been awarded a 3M student fellowship.
• Applicants must exhibit superior academic standing.

Application Process:

• Eligible candidates must submit an online application along with the following documents:
  • Cover page.
  • Nomination letters, letters of support, and statements from the vice president of students.
  • Official transcripts until the most recent education.
  • And other documents as requested by the provider.

Value of the Fellowship:

• Selected fellows can avail of the following benefits:
  • CAD 2,000.
  • Recognition in STLHE and 3M Canada social media, and partnering media.
  • Certificate and recognition at the annual Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) conference in June.
  • Letter from STLHE President and 3M Canada.
  • STLHE membership for two years.
  • Conference registration, travel to conference, and accommodations.
