Justin Chiu International Scholarship

The Justin Chiu International Scholarship was established by Justin Chiu, who benefited from the Trent experience as an international student, and is awarded to entering international students from Asia.

Eligibility criteria for the Justin Chiu International Scholarship:

Applicants must be international students paying international tuition fees.
Applicants must be studying in Canada on a study permit.
Applicants must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at the university.
Applicants must begin their program in the spring/summer (May/June) or fall (September) term.
Applicants must meet Trent University’s admission and English language proficiency requirements.
Applicants must have a final Canadian-equivalent high school average of 80% or higher.
Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, community service, leadership potential, and some financial need.
Applicants must fulfill the conditions of their offer, register for courses, and pay the required Fall and Winter term fees for their first undergraduate year.

Application Process for the Justin Chiu International Scholarship:

Applicants must apply for International Prestigious Scholarships through the Trent Applicant Portal.
One application ensures they will be considered for all international prestigious scholarships for which they meet the eligibility criteria.

Award: CAD 15,000 per academic year, and is renewable up to CAD 60,000 over a 4-year degree.
