Construction Employers Federation Prizes at Queen's University Belfast
This was established in 1983, and two annual £250 prizes are awarded to outstanding MEng students in Civil Engineering. One prize recognizes the top Stage 4 student for exceptional performance across Stages 2–4, or another student if the top Stage 4 student also tops all MEng courses. The second prize honors the best Stage 3 student across Stages 2–3. Awards are recommended by the Head of Civil Engineering in consultation with the Undergraduate Board of Examiners and presented by the Construction Employers' Federation.
Eligibility Criteria of Construction Employers Federation Prizes:
- Awarded to the Stage 4 MEng Civil Engineering student with the best overall performance across Stages 2, 3, and 4, or to another exceptional student if the top Stage 4 student also leads all MEng courses in the School.
- Second prize awarded annually to the Stage 3 student on any MEng course within the School with the best performance across Stages 2 and 3.
