With great pleasure, we present the International Balkan University Scholarship Program for the 2023–2024 academic year. As a socially conscious university, we are steadfast in our commitment to advancing research and education in the Republic of North Macedonia and the Balkan area by awarding up to 100% of scholarships to the most deserving and accomplished students. Over 1500 students have benefitted from our Scholarship Program in the seventeen years since our founding, and they now stand for highly skilled professionals, tomorrow's change agents, and decision-makers for a better society. They really represent International Balkan University and our cutting-edge, high-quality, student-centered, and career-focused educational program.

Eligibility for International Balkan University Scholarships:

  • The student should be a citizen of one of the following countries:  North Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Serbia.
  • The students must enroll themselves in an eligible program

Scholarship value:

  • The percentage of a student's scholarship at IBU is determined by how well they performed in high school as indicated by their cumulative average grade across all years.
  • For example, the student will receive a full scholarship of 100% if they are the greatest student in their generation
  • If their GPA is between 4.49 - 5.00, they will get a 90% scholarship
  • If their GPA is between 4.5 - 4.89, they will get an 80% scholarship
  • If their GPA is between 4.0 - 4.49, they will get 70%scholarship
  • If their GPA is between 3.0 - 3.9, they will get a 50% scholarship

  • Yes, you can secure an education loan to study abroad at International Balkan University. Education loans are of two types — Collateral and non-collateral. Collateral includes either: Immovable property – a house or a flat or land (or) liquid security – an FD, or LIC or shares or bonds. Agricultural lands are not accepted by any bank for education loan.
