Forbes and Warren Honours Scholarship in Mathematics and Physics at University of Tasmania 2024

This honors scholarship was kindly funded by the University of Tasmania's associate research fellow in mathematics and physics, Dr. David Warren, an alumnus, and a second matching contribution made possible by the university. This fellowship was established in recognition of Larry Forbes's substantial contributions to mathematics, physics, and the University of Tasmania. Forbes is a retired professor of applied mathematics at the University of Tasmania.

Eligibility for Forbes and Warren Honours Scholarship in Mathematics and Physics:

This scholarship is open for students who are starting their Honours program in Physics or Mathematics in Semester 1 of 2024.

Selection Criteria:

The criteria for selection will include academic excellence, a track record of dedication to the fields of mathematics and/or physics, and the caliber of the honors research project.

Retaining the scholarship:

To retain this scholarship, recipients are required to achieve a minimum Pass result in all units studied each semester.
