Overview

The Alzheimer’s Australia Dementia Research Foundation is offering four Ph.D. scholarships three AADRF Ph.D. Scholarships and one Consumer Priority Ph.D. Scholarship.

Eligibility for Dementia Grants Program in Australia :

  • The applicants for the Dementia Grants Program in Australia should be Australian citizens or permanent residents or New Zealand citizens living in Australia. 
  • The candidates who are residents in Australia for at least two years and have evidence of eligibility and application for permanent residency can apply for the AADRF Ph.D. Scholarship.
  • The applicants should be enrolled in a research degree at an Australian university full-time. Part-time Ph.D. students are not eligible.
  • The candidates should have a supervisor's written agreement and an Australian university's support.
  • The applicant's research proposal should be in the field of dementia.
  • The candidates should not hold any other scholarship.

Documents required:

  • The candidates applying for the Dementia Grants Program in Australia should submit a curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, and a support form for the application.
  • The applicants should also submit a detailed research proposal, proof of approval of ethics, and proof of Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency in New Zealand.
  • The candidates can submit more than one application for the same or different type of award but can only hold one award.
  • The previous recipients can also apply for the Dementia Grants Program.
