This scholarship is given in recognition of Colin and Eleanor Bourke's commitment to Monash University's human rights programs. It helps Indigenous students doing postgraduate coursework continue their studies.
Eligibility for the Colin and Eleanor Bourke Indigenous Postgraduate Scholarship:
- The applicant must be an Australian passport holder.
- The applicant must be enrolled in a postgraduate program at a Monash campus in Australia, either as a beginning or continuing student.
- The candidate must submit a certified Statutory Declaration form or a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate to the William Cooper Institute to be eligible.
Value of the Colin and Eleanor Bourke Indigenous Postgraduate Scholarship:
$20,000 per annum (48 credit points of study) paid until the minimum points for your degree are completed.
