About this award:
The University of Hull has a long history of participating in the China Scholarship Council (CSC) scheme, which provides funding to Chinese nationals for a range of Ph.D. programs. We are also an official CSC partner. The CSC Ph.D. scholarship program enables talented Chinese students to undertake a Ph.D. program at the University of Hull, building on Hull’s strong relationship with China. There are 10 full scholarships per year available for students to start a Ph.D. Students can apply for a PhD in any subject area.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be Chinese students with a strong academic background.
- Students must hold a PR Chinese passport (applicants from Hong Kong or Taiwan are not eligible).
- Applicants can either be residents in China at the time of application or studying overseas.
- Students with prior experience of studying overseas (including in the UK) are eligible to apply.
- Successful scholarship applicants are required to return to China for two years after completing their Ph.D.
