The China Scholarship Council Doctoral Awards in Germany are provided jointly by Freie University Berlin and the China Scholarship Programme to students who have enrolled in a PhD program at the University.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:

Be eligible for a China Scholarship Council (CSC) PhD scholarship
Be graduates of outstanding Chinese universities
Intend to pursue doctoral (PhD) studies at Freie Universität Berlin
Apply for one of the officially advertised FUB-CSC PhD positions
Meet the CSC eligibility requirements (to be confirmed through the CSC coordinator at the applicant’s home institution or workplace)

Application Process:

Prepare a research proposal according to FUB guidelines
Apply for a PhD position through Freie Universität Berlin
Separately apply for the CSC scholarship following CSC procedures.
