The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program provides funding to the very best postdoctoral applicants, both nationally and internationally, who will positively contribute to the country's economic, social, and research-based growth. 

Objectives of the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program are to:

  • Attract and retain top-tier postdoctoral talent, both nationally and internationally.
  • Develop their leadership potential.
  • Position the applicants for success as research leaders of tomorrow.

Eligibility for the Banting International Postdoctoral Fellowships Program:

  • The scholarship is open to students from all countries.
  • Applicants must not be a holders of the scholarship in the previous years.
  • Students should be willing to develop their leadership potential.
  • Demonstrate academic excellence and extensive research potential.

Value of the Banting International Postdoctoral Fellowships Program:

Successful applicants of the Banting International Postdoctoral Fellowships Program will receive an annual stipend of $70,000 per year (taxable).

Application: Applicants must seek endorsement from the host university to apply, prepare, and submit the application by 17 September 2024.
