AUT Global Exchange Scholarship 2027:

The AUT Global Exchange Scholarship supports students undertaking an international exchange experience at an AUT Global partner university. The scholarship aims to increase access to outbound exchange opportunities for AUT students by providing financial support towards the costs of an overseas exchange semester.

Eligibility Criteria for the AUT Global Exchange Scholarship 2027:

  • Applicant must have a confirmed nomination offer to attend an AUT Global partner institution.
  • Applicant must be enrolled full-time at Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
  • Applicant must have completed at least one year of full-time undergraduate study, or equivalent, by the commencement of the exchange semester.
  • Applicant must meet the academic requirements of the AUT Global exchange programme.
  • Applicant must normally have a minimum GPA of 5.0 for consideration for the exchange programme.
  • Applicant must maintain the required GPA until the exchange begins.
  • Applicant with a GPA between 4.5 and 4.99 may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Application Process for the AUT Global Exchange Scholarship 2027:

  • Applicant must apply through the AUT online scholarship application portal.
  • Applicant must upload a written statement of no more than two pages addressing:
    • How the international exchange experience will benefit the applicant personally and academically.
    • How the applicant would represent AUT while participating in the AUT Global exchange programme.
    • How the applicant plans to finance the exchange semester.
    • Any financial circumstances that would make it difficult to undertake an overseas exchange without scholarship support.
  • Applicant may describe financial circumstances such as personal or family financial circumstances, access to financial support, employment commitments, and the overall affordability of undertaking the exchange without scholarship assistance.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • The scholarship amount depends on the geographical location of the AUT Global partner university:
    • Asia: NZD 1,500
    • USA/Canada: NZD 2,500
    • UK and Europe: NZD 3,000
