The Swinburne Welcome Scholarship for Students is provided by Swinburne University of Technology to students who enrol in an undergraduate course at the university.
Eligibility for the Swinburne Welcome Scholarship:
- Students must be a holder of either a Bridging Visa 'E' (V050), a Temporary Protection Visa (V785), Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (V790) or a Temporary Humanitarian Concern Visa (V786).
- Students submit a course application through VTAC or directly to Swinburne.
- Students must be commencing first-year full-time studies.

The value of the Scholarship:
- All successful applicants will receive tuition fees from Swinburne University of Technology.
- The university will reimburse the materials expenses for students enrolled in authorized vocational education programs as well as, if applicable, their concession fees if they are pursuing a certificate program under the ASVET program.
- If their course lasts more than a year, individuals holding a Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (SHEV) or Temporary Protection Visa (TPV) may be eligible for a payout of up to $7,500 annually.
