Arts and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership (AHRC) 2026

The University of Strathclyde is a member of a consortium of seventeen Higher Education institutions in Scotland that is supported by funding for PhD studentships from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) through the Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities (SGSAH).  The living expenses and tuition for these studentships are covered at rates determined by UK Research & Innovation (UKRI).

Eligibility Criteria for Arts and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership (AHRC) 2026:

  • Applicants must hold or be working towards a relevant Master's degree with Merit/Distinction.
  • Applicants must hold a First Class or Upper Second Class Honours degree, or equivalent.
  • Applicants must meet UK Research and Innovation studentship eligibility requirements.
  • Applicants must meet the English language requirements of their chosen programme if applying as an international student.
  • Applicants must undertake an eligible PhD pathway.
  • Applicants must study full-time; part-time study is available only to candidates who do not require a study visa.

Application Process for the Arts and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership (AHRC) 2026:

Value:
