Overview
The Geographical Club Award provides two awards to support PhD students undertaking geographical fieldwork or other forms of data collection in the UK or overseas to advance geographical knowledge or understanding. One award is given for Physical and one for Human Geography. No restrictions are placed on the research topic or location.
Eligibility for the Geographical Club Award:
- Applicants must currently be enrolled in a PhD at a UK Higher Education institution.
- Applicants will be involved in geographical fieldwork or other forms of data collection in the UK or overseas.
- Applicants who do not receive full funding from a research council, university, or comparable levels of support are preferred.

Eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the award.
Value of the Award:
The successful applicants of the Geographical Club Award will receive a GBP 1,000 award.
