Overview

The University of Waterloo has initiated Arthur F. Church Entrance Scholarships to offer students who are planning to pursue their undergraduate-level courses at the university. Scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding students entering their first year in the Faculty of Engineering: one to a student in Mechatronics Engineering and one to a student in Computer Engineering or Systems Design Engineering.

Eligibility criteria for the Arthur F. Church Entrance Scholarships:

  • Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
  • Applicant must apply for an undergraduate engineering course in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Systems Design Engineering.
  • Applicants must be full-time, first-year students in a degree program and begin university or college for the first time.
  • Applications will be selected based on academic performance and the Admission Information Form (AIF).

To apply for Arthur F. Church Entrance Scholarships there is no separate application process, candidates will be automatically considered. 

Value of the Scholarship:

Successful applicants of the Arthur F. Church Entrance Scholarships will receive a scholarship value of $10,000.
