Al Alfi Foundation Sustainable Development Fellowship at The American University in Cairo 2025

Al Alfi Foundation and AUC are jointly offering a Sustainable Development Fellowship for Egyptian students to pursue a Master of Science in sustainable development.

Eligibility criteria for Al Alfi Foundation Sustainable Development Fellowship:

Applicants must:

• Be an Egyptian national.
• Have a background in science, engineering, business, policy, or social sciences.
• Meet the AUC graduate admissions requirements for the Master’s in Sustainable Development.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
• Submit a written statement outlining research and/or professional experience and future career goals.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Maintain full-time status and satisfactory academic performance throughout the fellowship duration.

Benefits of Al Alfi Foundation Sustainable Development Fellowship:

• Tuition fees for a maximum of nine credits per semester

Application Process:

To apply, applicants must:

• Submit the AUC graduate online application for the Master’s in Sustainable Development.
• Complete and submit the fellowship application as instructed on the AUC website.
