WSIB Scholars Program

Introduction: 

The WSIB Scholars Program supports students entering eligible business, information technology, and nursing programs who demonstrate leadership potential and an interest in careers in the public sector.

Eligibility criteria of the WSIB Scholars Program: 

• The applicant must be enrolling full-time in the first term of an eligible business, IT, or nursing program starting in Fall 2026.
• The applicant must have an admission average of 70% or above.
• The applicant must submit a 500-word essay describing how their character reflects WSIB's corporate values: accountability, collaboration, empathy, and integrity.
• The applicant must be willing to participate in a co-op, where applicable.
• Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate an interest in a public sector career, and show ongoing leadership throughout their studies to renew the scholarship. 

Application process for WSIB Scholars Program: 

• Apply after submitting an application to Fanshawe College and complete the scholarship application using your Fanshawe login credentials, including the required 500-word essay.
