Overview

The scholarship was established in 2022 and is maintained by an annual gift from Entain Australia.

Eligibility for the Women in Computing Honours Scholarship:

  • Students are enrolled full-time in the final year.
  • Students do not hold another scholarship that the associate dean considers similar. 

Eligible Courses:

  • Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) or associated dual program
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (in a software engineering discipline) or associated dual program
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering (in a software engineering discipline)
  • Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) 
  • Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) (in a computer science discipline).

Selection Criteria:

  • Academic achievements
  • Personal qualities, including leadership potential, community service, or engagement
  • Any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant to your future success in the engineering profession. 

Application Process:

Students must submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The students will receive AUD 10,000 per annum.
