Overview

The Whitaker Foundation offers the Whitaker International Fellows And Scholars Program, 2017 to provide an opportunity for biomedical engineers to conduct research abroad.

Eligibility

  • The applicants for Whitaker International Fellows And Scholars Program, 2017 should be citizens and permanent residents of the US.
  • The candidates should be in the fields of bioengineering, biomedical engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with interest and background in Biomedicine.
  • The applicants for Whitaker Scholars should be currently enrolled or should be within 3 years of the receipt of their most recent degree.
  • The candidates should have a bachelor's degree or enrolled in or recently completed a master's degree be in a Ph.D. program or be currently employed with a degree not higher than the MS.
  • The applicants who are foreign nationals and who have resided in the country of the proposed project for more than 6 months before the grant start date are not eligible.
  • The Whitaker fellows with a doctoral degree are not eligible.

Documents required

  • The candidates applying for Whitaker International Fellows And Scholars Program, 2017 should submit essays, personal information, resume, and recommendations with the online application.
