Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarships Program

The Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarships Program is provided by the Government of Western Australia, through the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification.

Eligibility criteria of the Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarships Program:

• The applicant must have received a letter of offer for a new enrolment from Murdoch as an onshore international student, undertaking full-time studies in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at the university, commencing in Semester 2 2026, or a start date after 1 July 2026 applicable to the student’s course of study (for PhD students).
• The applicant must have met the criteria to obtain an international student visa for study in Australia, arriving in the State of Western Australia (the State) and commencing studies onshore in 2026 in the semester for which they have applied.
• The applicant must not have commenced or completed previous studies in Western Australia.
• The applicant must be commencing studies directly in an undergraduate or postgraduate program and not via a packaged, foundation or English language pathway.
• The applicant must be prepared to decline any other scholarships previously granted by the University, State, or Commonwealth if the conditions of those scholarships prohibit holding multiple scholarships.
• The applicant must be applying to the University as an international fee-paying student.

Application process for the Western Australian Premier’s University Scholarships Program:

• The applicant must complete and submit the online application form and attach the required documents by the closing date.
• The applicant mjust provide a completed and submitted application form.
• The applicant must provide a completed degree certificate and official Undergraduate Transcript, in English.
• The applicant must provide a Valid English Language Competency Document.
• The applicant must provide a Personal statement and an unconditional Murdoch Offer.
• The applicant must provide a Genuine Student Form.
• The applicant must provide 1 Personal written reference and 1 Academic written reference.
