Overview
About this Scholarship:
It was founded in 2015 by the EAIT Faculty with assistance from Executive Dean Professor Simon Biggs. Additionally funded by friends and graduates of the school, the Fund will be utilized twice a year to award and distribute up to five AUD 1,000 modest awards to deserving female engineering, design, and technology students who want to make a positive global impact.
Eligibility for UQ Women in Action Fund:
- The scholarship is open to all women students.
- The applicants must be enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Information Technology.
- The applicants must have completed the first year of an undergraduate program or be a postgraduate student.
- The applicants must have maintained satisfactory academic progress.
Application Process:
- Students must submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
Value of the Scholarship:
- An AUD 1,000 is awarded to support a full-time student.
