University Of Tasmania Women In Maritime Engineering Scholarships 2024

The time is now more than ever for women to pursue fascinating careers in maritime engineering, one of the most demanding and fulfilling specializations in engineering. The Centre for Maritime Engineering and Hydrodynamics, Australia's top maritime engineering facility at the University of Tasmania's specialized institute, the Australian Maritime College (AMC), is providing excellent scholarships to young women to increase female participation in maritime engineering programs. Naval architecture, ocean engineering, and marine and offshore engineering are the areas of specialization. There are several scholarships accessible.

Eligibility for University Of Tasmania Women In Maritime Engineering Scholarships:

• Scholarships for any undergraduate maritime engineering courses with specializations in naval architecture, ocean engineering, or marine and offshore engineering offered by the Centre for Maritime Engineering & Hydrodynamics will be given to domestic female students who meet the Australian Tertiary Admission Ranking ATAR 70 or above in 2023 and who are starting their studies on the Launceston campus in Semester 1, 2024.
• Students must apply for housing through University Accommodation Services, pay the application fee, and provide a bond to be eligible (these expenses are NOT covered by this scholarship).

Value of the Scholarship:

The scholarship will cover one year of on-campus accommodation costs (to the value of $8,200).
