Overview

The University of Manchester has initiated the Global Futures Scholarship for all international students enrolling in any postgraduate course of study commencing their studies in September 2026 at the university.

Eligibility Criteria for the Global Futures Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be from the selected list of nationalities.
  • Applicants must secure admission in a postgraduate program (conditional or unconditional) at the university.
  • Applicants must be commencing their studies in September 2026.
  • Applicants must exhibit good academic standing.
  • Applicants must be self-funded.
  • Applicants for MBA, MPhil, MArch, Architecture and Urbanism (MA), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Clinical Medicine and Dentistry degrees are not eligible for the award.
  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree outside of South Asia are not eligible.
  • Applicants for blended and distance learning programmes do not qualify.

Application Process:

  • The application form will be emailed automatically to all eligible applicants shortly after an academic offer is made. 
  • The candidates must submit the online scholarship application form by 24 April 2026. 

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship worth GBP 10,000.
