Overview
The purpose of the University of Lincoln's Africa Scholarship is to facilitate postgraduate study at the university for students from all around Africa. The Africa Scholarship is available as a reduction in tuition for postgraduate taught programs, with the first class starting in the 2024–2025 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria for the University of Lincoln Africa Scholarship:
- Students should be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Africa (excluding Egypt).
- Students must hold a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught program commencing in September 2025 or January 2026.
A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
- Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
A £4,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
- Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
Application Process:
Students don't need to apply for this scholarship; it will be automatically applied upon enrollment with the university.
