- a first-class honors primary degree (1.1) i.e Level 8 – NQAI or equivalent
- second Class Honours Grade1 (2h1) primary degree i.e Level 8 – NQAI or equivalent
- The academic requirements of the program they're applying must also be satisfied by the applicants.
- Applicants of research master's programs or those who have already started their master's degree are ineligible to apply for University of Limerick Taught Postgraduate Scholarships in Ireland, 2020.
