Eligibility for University of Auckland Pacific Postgraduate Scholarship:

Applicants must:

  • Be a Pacific student.
  • Be a citizen or permanent resident of New Zealand.
  • Be enrolled full-time (or part-time for socially compelling reasons) at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
  • Have completed their most recent qualifying programme at a recognised university.
  • Have achieved a minimum GPA of 7.50 in their most recent qualifying programme.
  • Be newly enrolling in the programme (students who have already commenced are not eligible).

Value of University of Auckland Pacific Postgraduate Scholarship:

The Scholarship will comprise a stipend of up to $14,346 pa in 2025 paid in fortnightly installments, plus compulsory fees for the program.

Application Process:

  • No separate scholarship application required.
  • Students are automatically assessed once their postgraduate admission application is approved.
