Quantum Science and Technology at the University College London is offering UCL Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Quantum Technologies, 2017. The fellowship is open to excellent researchers who are completing or have recently completed Ph.D.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants of UCL Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Quantum Technologies, 2017 must either have submitted their Ph.D. or be about to submit their Ph.D. no more than 6 months prior to the closing date.
- Candidates applying for UCL Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Quantum Technologies, 2017 should qualify to work in the UK but haven't been funded by EPSRC for their doctoral study.
- The proposed project should be related to the area of quantum technologies, with a focus on the engineering of quantum effects for applications.
- The candidates must have their host Department support who will nominate a suitable mentor for the applicants.
- The project mentor of the applicants must not be their Ph.D. Supervisor (primary or secondary).
- The duration of the proposed project must be 2 years.
- The candidates must have submitted their Ph.D. thesis before the fellowship begins.
- Unsuccessful applicants cannot reapply unless they have been specifically invited by the panel.
