Eligibility criteria for UCL Care Leaver Bursary 2026:

Applicants must be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status.
Applicants must be under 25 years old on the day their course starts.
Applicants must have previously been in the care of, or accommodated by, their local authority for at least 13 weeks.
Applicants must not have reconciled with their parents between leaving care and starting their course. The care must have ended on or after turning 16 and before the first day of the academic year of the course.
Applicants must either hold an offer to study a full-time undergraduate degree at UCL, or currently be enrolled in one.

Value of UCL Care Leaver Bursary 2026:

£1,000 per year (to support maintenance costs).
Advance payment: New students can request £200 at the start of the course.

Application Process:

No separate application is required for the bursary.
