Tucker Family Scholarship in Nursing

The Tucker Family Scholarship in Nursing is provided by Mr Rodney Tucker and was established in 2017 to provide financial support for 3rd year students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their studies in the Bachelor of Nursing course at Murdoch University.

Eligibility criteria of the Tucker Family Scholarship in Nursing:

• The applicant must be an Australian citizen.
• The applicant must be enrolled full-time in their 3rd year of the undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing course at our Mandurah or Perth campus.
• The applicant must have a strong commitment to their studies and be in good standing.

Application process for the Tucker Family Scholarship in Nursing:

• This scholarship opens for applications from the first week of September each year. 
• The applicant must provide a personal statement of up to 300 words maximum, reflecting on the personal contribution they will make to their profession and the health of the community, once registered as a nurse.
• The applicant must provide one written reference - either an academic reference from their school or university, OR a character reference from someone suitable to comment on their commitment to study.
