Overview
Eligibility Criteria for NSP Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students:
- Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Caste category and have completed Class 12.
- Students should have taken admission in a full-time course in a notified institution through general selection criteria prescribed by respective institutions.
- Students' families should have an annual income of less than INR 8 lakh from all sources.
Documents required:
- Caste Certificate
- Income Certificate
- Bank account details of the institution and the student
- Proof of admission
- Scorecard of entrance exam qualified (if applicable)
- The fee structure of the program
Value of the scholarship:
- Full tuition fee and non-refundable charges (there will be a ceiling of Rs. 2.00 lakh per annum per student for private institutions).
- Academic allowance of Rs. 86,000 in the first year of study and Rs. 41,000 in every subsequent year, to take care of living expenses, books and stationery, computer/laptop of reputed brand with accessories like UPS and printer, etc.
