TMCF - Walmart Foundation First Generation Scholarships, 2024 is open to students who will soon be incoming freshmen at one of the 47 publicly supported HBCUs within the TMCF network.

Eligibility for TMCF - Walmart Foundation First Generation Scholarships, 2024:

  • Applicants of TMCF - Walmart Foundation First Generation Scholarships, 2024 must be citizens of the US and first-generation college students.
  • Candidates must be either incoming college freshmen or graduating high school seniors.
  • Students must be accepted at and are prepared to attend one of the 47 HBCUs.
  • Candidates applying for TMCF - Walmart Foundation First Generation Scholarships, 2024 should be recommended by a high school counselor.
  • A GPA of at least 2.5 in high school is required.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial support (by completing the FAFSA) and leadership ability.

Documents required:

  • Essay with at least 500 words on "What does it mean to be the first person in your family to receive a college degree? What impact would this scholarship have on your education?"
  • Resume
  • Recommendation from a current faculty member or high school counselor
