Introduction: 

The Pryer Award is funded through a bequest from Faye Pryer in honor of her husband, Barry Pryer, a lawyer. Administered by The University of Western Australia, the award is intended to support high-achieving students who are experiencing financial hardship and commencing the Juris Doctor (JD) program.

Eligibility requirements for the Pryer Award for Women at the University of Western Australia:

  • Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be experiencing financial hardship.
  • Be commencing the Juris Doctor (JD) at the University of Western Australia.
  • Hold a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) in the JD program.

Value of the scholarship:

The Total Value of the scholarship is AUD 81,900 and is awarded A full-time student will be awarded AUD 27,300 per annum
