The Michael Patterson Scholarships
The Michael Patterson Scholarships are given in memory of the late Professor Michael Patterson, who taught in the Department from 1969 to 1993 and devoted much of his time and energy to the preparation of students for the History Department's credential programs. 

Eligibility criteria -

• The applicant must be pursuing a History major.
• They can be graduate students who are enrolled in the History Department's FYI/JYI Integrated History Subject Matter Program or SSMP Credential Program.

Application process -

• The applicant must surpass all the additional requirements the University sets for admission.
