Overview

The Scholarship has been established to provide financial support to students experiencing financial hardship, as a result of undertaking their final clinical placement in their undergraduate Nursing degree. 

Eligibility for The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Nursing Scholarship:

Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled or enrolling in their final clinical placement of an undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing degree at Flinders University
  • Be undertaking their final placement in 2025
  • Be able to demonstrate financial hardship or anticipated financial disadvantage due to undertaking the placement
  • Have a minimum GPA of 4.5
  • Not be in receipt of a similar scholarship for the same placement.

Application for  The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Nursing Scholarship:

  1. Applications should be submitted online at Flinders University Student System.
  2. Applicants who are in receipt of a Commonwealth Income Support payment will need to demonstrate evidence of the same.
  3. Applicants who are not in receipt of a Commonwealth Income Support payment as described above will need to complete the Financial Hardship Form online.
