The Scholarship has been established to provide financial support to students experiencing financial hardship, as a result of undertaking their final clinical placement in their undergraduate Nursing degree.

Eligibility for The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Nursing Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Be enrolled or enrolling in their final clinical placement of an undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing degree at Flinders University
Be undertaking their final placement in 2025
Be able to demonstrate financial hardship or anticipated financial disadvantage due to undertaking the placement
Have a minimum GPA of 4.5
Not be in receipt of a similar scholarship for the same placement.

Application for The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Nursing Scholarship:

Applications should be submitted online at Flinders University Student System.
Applicants who are in receipt of a Commonwealth Income Support payment will need to demonstrate evidence of the same.
Applicants who are not in receipt of a Commonwealth Income Support payment as described above will need to complete the Financial Hardship Form online.

Benefits of the The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Nursing Scholarship:

The scholarship is valued at $2000 paid within two weeks of commencement of the final clinical placement.
