The Leahurst Nurses’ Foundation Scholarship has been established to provide financial support to students experiencing financial hardship, as a result of undertaking their final clinical placement in their undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery degree.

Eligibility for The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship

Applicants must:

Be enrolled or enrolling in their final clinical placement of an undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery degree at Flinders University
Be undertaking their final placement in the year of the scholarship
Be able to demonstrate financial hardship or anticipated financial disadvantage due to undertaking the placement
Have a minimum GPA of 4.5
Not be in receipt of a similar scholarship for the same placement
Provide required financial hardship documentation (Centrelink/DVA Income Statement or Financial Hardship Form)

Value of The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship

The scholarship is valued at $2000 paid within two weeks of commencement of the final clinical placement.
