The Leahurst Nurses’ Foundation Scholarship has been established to provide financial support to students experiencing financial hardship, as a result of undertaking their final clinical placement in their undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery degree. 

Eligibility for The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship

Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled or enrolling in their final clinical placement of an undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery degree at Flinders University
  • Be undertaking their final placement in the year of the scholarship
  • Be able to demonstrate financial hardship or anticipated financial disadvantage due to undertaking the placement
  • Have a minimum GPA of 4.5
  • Not be in receipt of a similar scholarship for the same placement
  • Provide required financial hardship documentation (Centrelink/DVA Income Statement or Financial Hardship Form)

Value of The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship

The scholarship is valued at $2000 paid within two weeks of commencement of the final clinical placement.
