Eligibility Criteria for the Jumpstart Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Be a New Zealand citizen or New Zealand permanent resident.
Have acceptance into a program of study at Auckland University of Technology or currently be enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate degree at AUT.
Be able to demonstrate financial hardship.
Be prepared to commit to both academic study and the work experience component.
Meet AUT program entry requirements or undertake a pre-degree pathway if required.

Application Process:

Applicants must apply through the AUT online scholarship application portal and submit:

Completed online application form.
Academic transcripts for study not completed at AUT.
A personal statement in any media format, such as:
- A video (maximum 3 minutes), or
- An essay/letter (maximum 2 pages) explaining financial hardship and career aspirations.
