The James and Mary Hogan Prize in History honors Professor James Hogan and his wife, Mary, by recognizing excellence in historical research at University College Cork (UCC). The prize is awarded for the best seminar dissertation in history submitted as part of the BA (Hons) degree examination.

Eligibility criteria for the Jennifer O Reilly Prize in Medieval History at University College Cork:

  • The prize is awarded in the following order:
    • To the student with the best BA seminar dissertation in Medieval History, achieving at least first-class honors.
