Eligibility for The German-Asian Programme:
- The IJP Asia Fellowship, 2024 is open to journalists from PR China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
- Applicants must belong to the age group 28-38 years.
- Candidates are required to possess very good English language skills and must have an interest in learning the German language.
- Applicants of The IJP Asia Fellowship, 2022 must be contributing regularly to newspapers, TV and radio media, and also online services.
- Candidates applying for The IJP Asia Fellowship, 2022 must submit the following documents before the deadline:
- CV in English/German
- A passport photograph
- A description of research aims on a page
- A journalistic reference from their editor
Mode of Payment:
IJP provides a one-time payment of 4,000 euros to each program delegate. This should take care of the majority of travel, lodging, and food costs in addition to health insurance. It is not reasonable to demand payment from the host media.
Application Process:
Those who work as journalists between the ages of 25 and 45 and consistently contribute to print, broadcast, and internet media are eligible to apply.
