The European Young Researchers’ Award (EYRA), 2017 to inspire Ph.D. students to inspire them to integrate a European dimension or perspective to their research.
Candidates applying for The European Young Researchers’ Award (EYRA), 2017 are required to work in a European country.
Having a European nationality is not required.
Students registered in their first Ph.D. at the time of application are eligible.
The European Young Researchers’ Award (EYRA), 2017 is also open to those who have defended their thesis after January 1st, 2017.
The research must have a European dimension either because it is a research project in a European country or it is an embedded in collaboration of European researchers in different countries that outline a research topic of European added value.
The research must be of outstanding quality.
Applicants must be sent in English.
Selections of The European Young Researchers’ Award (EYRA), 2017 are done based on the following criteria:
Inspiration to others
Quality of research results
Outreach to wider audience
Role in the research
CV in not more than two pages
DEsription of research and its European dimension in maximum of two pages (A4)
List of conferences, publications, performances, posters for exhibitions (including student concerts in performing arts and musicology etc).
