Eligibility Criteria for the Durham DBA Scholarships at Durham University:

Applicants must:

• Hold an offer for the Durham DBA programme for 2026 entry.
• Be self-funding; applicants with external funding (employer, government, or private provider) are ineligible.
• Demonstrate outstanding professional achievement in roles with high managerial responsibility.
• Have an excellent academic record from a recognised institution.
• Perform strongly in the admissions interview and show clear intent for the programme.
• Demonstrate the potential to contribute meaningfully to the DBA programme academically and culturally.
• Be involved in volunteering or community support activities.
• Show potential to become an exemplary alumni ambassador for the School and broader professional community.
• Agree to participate in School marketing and outreach activities.
• Be available to take up their place in 2026.

Value of the Durham DBA Scholarships at Durham University:

Scholarship Awards

• DBA Director Award: £20,000
• Women in Leadership Award: £10,000 (up to 3 awards)
• Impactful Research and Scholarship in Sustainability Award: £10,000 (up to 3 awards)
• Emerging Countries Award: £10,000 (up to 3 awards)
• Emerging Leader Award: £10,000 (up to 3 awards)
• The scholarship is a tuition fee discount applied evenly over the two taught years of the DBA programme.

Application Process:

Applicants must hold an offer for the program by the following deadlines: 

• Round One: hold an offer by 6 March 2026
• Round Two: hold an offer by 7 August 2026
