Eligibility Criteria for The College of Business and Law Scholarship for LLM by Research at University College Cork:

Applicants must:

• Be a current UCC student.
• Hold a good upper second class (2:1) or first class degree in Law or a related discipline (or equivalent).
• Have a suitable supervisor available at UCC Law School.
• Demonstrate aptitude for original research by submitting a Research Proposal, including:
  • Description of project, aim, and central research questions (1000 words)
  • Methodology, including theoretical framework and investigative/analytical methods (500 words)
  • Relationship to existing literature and proposed contribution to knowledge (500 words)
  • Research plan with organisation and scheduling of work (500 words)
  • Sample bibliography
  • Statement of suitability of UCC Law School to host the project (500 words)

Value of The College of Business and Law Scholarship for LLM by Research at University College Cork:

• €5,770, covering tuition fees for one year.
• Non-renewable, tenable for one year.
