Texas State University provides scholarships to incoming freshmen based on their admission credentials. Assured scholarships are given to students with SAT or ACT scores, while Merit Scholarships are available to students who apply without test scores.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded based on the following quota:

     Minimum SAT score of 1160+ / Minimum ACT score of 24+

  • USD 20,000 - Top 26%-30% of class
  • USD 16,000 - Top 31%-35% of class

     Minimum SAT score of 1060-1150 / Minimum ACT score of 21-23

  • USD 16,000 - Top 25% of class or IB/AP Capstone
