Taylor’s University offer various research-related postgraduate scholarships for students enrolled in doctoral programmes at Taylor’s University. Taylor’s University initiated Taylor’s Research Excellence International Awards, 2021 to support students involved with our postgraduate research programme financially so that they can become effective researchers that contribute to the needs of our community. This award is offered to support research in all areas of studies in the University and to instill excellent values amongst postgraduate students academically and socially. Award recipients are expected to devote their efforts to research and publishing articles as well as participating in University events and activities and getting engaged in various non-academic activities like community activism, charity work or educational services.

Eligibility criteria for the Taylor’s Research Excellence International Awards, 2021:

  • This research award is open to all international applicants.
  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA ≥ 3.33 and Master’s Degree (Coursework / Mixed mode) with CGPA ≥ 3.50 or by Research mode from any recognised local/foreign university.
  • Applicants must meet the admission requirements (academic and English language proficiency) for the relevant research degree.

An applicant with publication in Citation Indexed Journal (CIJ) will have an added advantage.

Benefits of the Taylor’s Research Excellence International Awards, 2021:

 

  • 100% tuition fee waiver for a maximum of 36 months (full-time study)
  • 100% thesis examination fee waiver
  • Monthly stipend of RM 2,300
  • Conference allowance of RM 3,000
