- The focus is on providing access to linguistic and paralinguistic data in parliamentary audio recordings. Example objectives include helping journalists identify newsworthy events, search tasks, creating alerts, or summarizing content.
Funding
The studentships offer full funding for 3.5 years and cover:
- Home or International tuition fees
- An enhanced stipend of £22,280 tax-free (for 2025/26)
- A research and training support grant of £2,500 per year for research expenses and conference attendance
