The Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for Academic Excellence Scheme is a state-sponsored scheme for the Rajasthan domiciles to pursue their education abroad and is offered by the Government of Rajasthan.
Eligibility Criteria for the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship for Academic Excellence Scheme:
- Applicants must be Indian nationals.
- Applicants must be students of Rajasthan State domicile.
- Applicants must be less than 35 years as on 1st July of the financial year.
- Applicants must receive an offer letter from any of the 150 QS-ranked Universities across the world.
- Applicants can be enrolled in any subject/course offered by the Universities.
- Applicants must have scored 60% marks in the last exam passed.
- Applicants can be enrolled in either Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD, Post-Doc, or MBBS.
- Applicants must meet the following annual income criteria:
- Less than ₹8,00,000 (E1 category)
- Between ₹8,00,000 and INR 25,00,000 (E2 category)
- More than ₹25,00,000 (E3 category)
Application Process:
Applicants must apply through the official website.
Documents required:
- Aadhaar Number.
- Offer letter of the applicable foreign university.
- Bonafide/ Domicile certificate.
- Gross family Income affidavit (authenticated by an executive magistrate and witnessed by two gazetted officers).
- ITRs of the last 3 years of Mother, Father and the candidate.
- 10th marksheet.
- Qualifying Degree, Mark sheet/Certificate of last passed exam.
- Affidavit for Self-Declaration for Scholarships/financial help etc. from other sources.
- AIS (Annual Information Statement) and TIS (Taxpayer Information Summary).
- Affidavit for not filling revised ITR.
- Other Income Affidavit (Managing Director, Proprietorship and Share in company).
Benefits:
- Tuition fee, bench fee, and living expenses to the students studying abroad.
- E1: Tuition Fees and Bench fee: 100% tuition fees (Max 50 lakh).
- E2: Tuition Fees and Bench fee: 85% Tuition fees (max up to 42.5 lakhs)
- E3: Tuition Fees and Bench fee: 70% Tuition fees (max up to 35 lakhs).
