The Strive Towards Science Award at the University of Auckland 2025 supports an undergraduate student enrolling in the first year of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours), selected for the Science Scholars program, and demonstrating intellectual curiosity and a passion for science.

Eligibility Criteria for the Strive Towards Science Award:

Applicants must:

  • Be either a domestic or international student.
  • Be enrolled full-time in the first year of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or associated conjoint degree, or a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) (BAdvSci(Hons)) or associated conjoint degree.
  • Have been selected to participate in the Science Scholars program in the Faculty of Science at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.

Value of the Strive Towards Science Award:

One Award will be made annually for a period of up to one year and will be of the value of up to $1,000.

Application Process:

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
