Fellowships will be awarded for up to $50,000.

A complete application includes:

  • Online application form
  • Research proposal (no more than 12 pages). Click here to view the proposal requirements.
  • Current CV summary of the lead PI and up to two Co-PIs, where relevant (two to three pages each). CVs should include the following details: education and employment history, relevant research experience, honors and awards, professional affiliations, language skills, and a list of no more than five relevant publications.

The deadline for applications is April 26, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern time.

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation of New York City in the United States, is a private foundation with five core areas of interest, endowed with wealth accumulated by Andrew W. Mellon of the Mellon family of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is the product of the 1969 merger of the Avalon Foundation and the Old Dominion Foundation.
