Eligibility Criteria for the South Coast Doctoral Training Partnership Social Science (SCDTP) PhD studentships:

Applicants can be of any nationality.
Applicants can be pursuing either Msc or PhD.
To get this scholarship a student must have an offer to study for a masters degree or PhD in one of the following disciplinary pathways:
- business and management
- criminology
- demography
- economics
- education
- gerontology
- human geography
- linguistics
- politics and international relations
- psychology
- science and technology studies
- social science methods for health research
- social policy
- Social Statistics
- sociolegal studies
- sociology
Applicants must pursuing any of the following:
- 1-year MSc and 3.5 years PhD
- 3.5 years PhD
- 4.5 years Interdisciplinary award
- 4.5 years Integrated PhD in Economics, Education or Gerontology at Southampton
