About the scholarship:
This biennial scholarship is awarded to the most outstanding postgraduate thesis in mathematics, with preference given to areas of logic, set theory, measure theory, or related topics passed by examiners within the previous two calendar years.
Eligibility for the Greg Hjorth Memorial Prize:
- Applicants must have completed a Master or Doctor of Philosophy Science at the University of Melbourne in a discipline aligned to Mathematics, within the previous two calendar years.
- Preference will be given to students who undertake substantial research in a discipline aligned to logic, set theory, measure theory or related topics.

- Impact of Research,
- Examiner reports from international experts,
- Publication in elite journals.
